Supplied by EMS, the Moeller Modan system offers a fully withdrawable distribution and/or motor control solution in applications where main busbars can be rated from 1,000A to 6,000A. The withdrawable feature offers a high level of personnel protection and rapid exchange of functional units without isolation of the main switch, where minimum plant down time is required.

The MODAN system can be supplied complete with the ARCON arc-fault protection system (patented by Moeller Electric), which prevents damage consequential to internal arc faults in main switchgear systems. Without such protection severe damage is normally experienced during an arc-fault and subsequent loss of supply is inevitable. With ARCON, equipment is back on-line in minutes.
